PIERO VIVARELLI

Piero Vivarelli, one of most influential hatha yoga teachers in Italy, is the founder of AtmaStudio in Bologna. His recognized ability to guide students to deeply and confidently explore their inner and outer resources through hatha yoga stems from his profound experience of the power of the practice, and the passion with which he shares that experience openly and sincerely. Devoted since 1994 to yoga in all its traditional aspects, he lived in India from 1997 to 2000. Since 1996 he has studied with John Friend, founder of AnusaraYoga, and with other internationally renowned teachers including Desiree Rumbaugh, Sianna Shermann, and Noah Mazé and in 2005 he became the first Italian to be certified in Anusara Yoga. In the same year he founded AtmaStudio in Bologna. Deeply influenced by his study with such world-renowned professors of Eastern philosophies and religions as Mark Dyczkowski, Carlos Pomeda, Bill Mahony and Paul Muller Ortega, he teaches regularly at AtmaStudio and holds courses, teacher trainings and retreats in Italy and other European countries.
