SURROUNDED BY NATURAL BEAUTY

Our yoga shalas are surrounded by cedar and olive trees, wild herbs and grasses, and the sound of the sea in the air.

Okreblue stands out because of our spacious, well-equipped yoga shalas. We have two large, beautiful, well ventilated yoga halls on our campus we offer to retreat leaders and use for our
in-house yoga programs. Our yoga shalas sit in natural beauty, surrounded by cedar and olive trees, wild herbs and grasses, and the sound of the sea in the air. They are both enclosed with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors which you can choose to keep open for air circulation or closed to experience nature from inside. Each have enough high-quality mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, meditation pillows and blankets to support your retreats and trainings. Both are clean,
bright, and airy, equipped with a sound system and white board. Our shalas are large and can hold many retreaters comfortably without feeling cramped with lots of room to move about.
We often get compliments from teachers and students about their positive experience in our yoga halls. If you are a retreat leader or a guest coming to practice, our shalas enhance the yoga experience by providing a beautiful, elegant, serene space for yoga, meditation, workshops, dance, and teacher trainings. Both shalas are maintained, cleaned and sanitized daily by ourhousekeeping team.

OKREBLUE SHALAS

Our shalas are named after Apollo, the God of Sun and Light, and his twin sister Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt and Protector of the Forest.

ARTEMIS

Artemis Artemis Shala is 170 sq m, with a wooden floor, floor to ceiling glass doors on 3 walls that can be left opened while you practice, enjoying the sounds and breeze of the nearby sea. This is our first Shala, where it all started. Inspired by our original yoga retreaters who still visit and practice at Okreblue annually. Situated among cedar and olive trees, you can smell thyme, oregano, sage and other wild herbs that grow outside the Shala doors.

Apollo

Apollo is our larger shala at 270 sq m, which we built as our yoga family/community grew. Apollo has wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors on 3 walls which can be left opened or closed to experience the sounds and breeze of the nearby sea as you practice. Originally built out of clay and straw, the space is inspired by Leonardo di Vinci’s first airplane design. The wooden floor sits on upcycled tires for insulation and buoyancy.
