Nestled on the stunning island of Paros, Greece, the Okre Blue Retreat Center offers a serene backdrop for a transformative yoga journey. Paros, Greece, is renowned for its stunning attractions that blend natural beauty with rich history. Visitors can explore the picturesque village of Naoussa, famous for its charming harbor and vibrant nightlife. The whitewashed streets of Parikia, the island’s capital, offer a glimpse into traditional Cycladic architecture, with highlights including the Ekatontapyliani Church. The beaches of Kolimbithres and Golden Beach are perfect for sunbathing and water sports, while the serene landscapes of Antiparos island provide a tranquil escape. For history enthusiasts, the ancient marble quarries of Paros reveal the island’s significance in classical sculpture, making it a captivating destination for all types of travelers.

PRICING

Double Occupancy:
$2800 per person- Shared room for two people in two separate beds.

Single Occupancy:
$4500- Entire room for yourself!

Inclusions:
Accommodation, meals, yoga sessions, workshops, day trips into Lefke and Parikia!

Not Included:
Transport to Greece / Paros. You’ll fly into Athens at your leisure (maybe come a day or two early to see the Parthenon!) before taking a ferry to Paros. Retreat begins on 6/12 at 4PM and ends 6/19 at 11AM. Book your ferry from Rafina Port (closest to airport) by visiting Ferry Hopper. There are economy (4-5 hr) and high speed (2.5-3.5hr) options. You are responsible for booking the ferry that works for you based on your arrival and departure from Greece.

Bristol Maryott

Bristol Maryott is thrilled to be the owner of Jala. Bristol is an Advanced-Certified Jivamukti, Ashtanga and prenatal teacher with over twenty years of experience teaching yoga. She has granted permission to teach Ashtanga Level 1 through Saraswati Jois. Bristol’s practice and teaching is informed by the light and grace of her dear teachers. She is grateful for the tutelage of Jivamukti founders, Sharon Gannon and David Life, as well as senior Jivamukti teachers Lady Ruth & Yogeswari. Bristol also travels to India regularly where she loves to practice with Saraswathi Jois in Mysore. She also has completed an Ashtanga second series intensive with Manju Jois.

Bristol holds an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London UK and graduated from Yale with a BA in English. She has worked at Sotheby’s in London and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Bristol believes that art and yoga are complimentary disciplines exploring consciousness. Bristol wanted to create a space where yoga practitioners could both inspire and be inspired by art.

Liz Guardia

Liz Guardia believes that there are many gifts to be discovered through the practice of yoga beyond physical transformation. Her passion is to help people on the yogic path through self-inquiry, physical practice and meditation. She believes world peace will be attained once we have all found inner peace. Her teachings stem from the philosophy that the training of the body is the vehicle which leads to the training of the mind. Liz works with a lot of hands-on assist and thoughtful dharma teachings. Liz is a 200 & 500 hr certified teacher. She was introduced to yoga at the age of 16 and it has been a consistent part of her life since.

She has studied with Fluid Yoga. She is forever grateful to her teachers Kevan Gale and Betty Riaz who have helped her transform from a vinyasa practitioner to life-long student of dharma. Liz is a lover travel, adventure, food and fun! She loves to share this energy in her classes. The flows are intelligent, dynamic and robust.
