Simran K. Wester

My passion is to share what has helped me in my life. I am a Kundalini Yoga teacher since 1981, when I moved in the Ashram in Hamburg and became a student of Yogi Bhajan. In the nineties, I became a teacher trainer. The spiritual view on life of Kundalini Yoga is really the basis of all my trainings. Before the turn of the century, I met Marshall Rosenberg, the founder of Nonviolent Communication, and started to study this art of communication with him and other trainers. Since 2004, I am a CNVC-certified trainer for Nonviolent Communication (NVC) as well.

I perceive Nonviolent Communication as Yoga in communication – it is all about mindfulness, presence, inner harmony, compassion, and authentic, peaceful relationships. NVC has taught me to be loving with myself and others, as Kundalini Yoga has taught me to realize my Self and act consciously. I feel very blessed to have these gifts in my life.
