Spanda and Flow – 25 hours Yoga Alliance continuing education
Elevate your yoga practice. Harmonize the mind and movement with rhythm and beat. What is rhythm? The concept of rhythm and “spanda” in Odaka Yoga practice is central. “Spanda” is a Sanskrit word that can be translated as “creative vibration” or “cosmic pulsation”. It refers to the awareness of the rhythm of the body and the universe that permeates the practice. Synchronizing the centering and movements, so that they flow together in natural harmony. This leads to a feeling of flow, presence and connection with your body, encouraging the expression of advanced poses without effort. In this course the spanda becomes the guide, he encourages each practitioner to become aware of their own ritual by learning to adapt to it and infuses energy into the practice, leading us into a deep and authentic yoga experience.
