1,5 hours evening practice followed by dinner.
Lots of time to enjoy the sea and the sun!

Connie Cappos

I am the founder and director of Kupukupu Yoga, which I opened in Pahoa in 2012. I have been studying, practicing and teaching yoga for 25 years. My true yogic path began in 2002 at Yoga Oasis retreat center in Pahoa, Hawaii where I trained daily under Hayward Coleman, and many other teachers who would visit and spend time there. I studied and was introduced to many different styles and aspects of yoga. I eventually became a staff member, and then a teacher, receiving my 200 hour yoga teachers certificate in 2009. I taught and lead wellness yoga retreats for Yoga Oasis before opening Kupukupu Yoga in Pahoa. I am commited and dedicated to my own yoga practice; it is as important to me as sharing my knowledge of yoga with others. I teach my regular classes throughout the week,  multi level flow and a gentle class for beginners and seniors. I am a mentor/teacher/facilitator for the yoga intern program at Hawaiian Sanctuary. I work closely with the interns, guiding them to go deeper into their own practice and understanding of the yogic teachings. I create and lead yoga and wellness retreats in Hawaii and Greece. My future plans are to expand, and bring these retreats to different locals globally.

I am also world traveler, a celebrity wardrobe stylist, manage my own tropical vacation rental, and grow a lot of my own food organically. I have a great sense of humor and am fun to be around. I am passionate about health, wellness and personal growth.
In my classes I use my years of experience on the mat to combine an active practice of traditional Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Kriyas, Qi Gong, and yoga therapy.
