The main focus of our training will be uniting the traditional practices of Alignment based Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa style with Ayurveda Immersion. This program is designed for those of you who want to become certified yoga teachers and /or deepen your knowledge of the relationship between these two ancient practices, deepen your yoga practice and gain a foundational understanding through an in-depth study of yoga philosophy and yoga anatomy. Yoga and Ayurveda are sister sciences originally designed to be practiced together which can lead us to the highest truth of our innermost self. Our immersion style of Yoga and Ayurvedic training allows you to personally experience the benefits of daily self-care such as seasonal eating, meditation, mindfulness, and yoga. Apart from finding your dosha and understanding of how this ancient system works, we will study Ayurveda’s philosophy and its take on topics such as digestion, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and psychology. Immersion into Yogic studies is a profound and beneficial life changing experience. In this training, you will be taught the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga, functional anatomy and alignment to safely create vinyasa classes and learn how to create yoga sequences for your own practice, including ways to plan classes and design sequences guided by the Ayurvedic principles. Immerse yourself for 25 days at our seaside eco-retreat center. Classes, accommodations, organic locally sourced farm to table meals are included; your only responsibility once you arrive is to leave the outside world behind to take in, absorb, and live the teachings of yoga. Yoga teachers’ trainings are not just for advanced students or for those who wish to teach yoga.

History and Tradition of Yoga
With Nancy Hitzanidou. We will join together in an exciting journey along the History of the Yogic Tradition, starting from one of the first cradles of civilization, the banks of the Indus River, where the Vedas and the Upanishads were born. The flow will guide us to the Epic period of Yoga, as we will study the venerated scripture of the Bhagavad Gita, and next, to the study of the renowned Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the epitome of Classical Yoga as a Science of the Soul. Our journey will continue with a view on the life-affirming, multifarious and intriguing Tantric Tradition, along with the study of the noted yogic manual of Hatha Yoga Pradipika; to finally conclude with the nowadays worldwide blossoming of the yogic practice.
